All monies paid are non-refundable

BGRAPHIC reserves the right to showcase any designs created from any project. (For promotional purposes only). All work is evaluated on a case by case basis, any job can be refused.

 

Deposits

All jobs require a 50% non-refundable deposit prior to commencing a project, unless otherwise agreed.

 

Illustration and Design

Custom Illustration work is owned by the Illustrator, not the client.

All designs that are purchased by the client are considered as one design item and must be paid separately for. (For example: If a logo design is requested, the design process begins and multiple versions of the logo may be shown during the review process). If the client requests more than 1 version be brought final, then there may be an additional charge for that extra design.

 

Images and Logos

Images provided from a client for use in a design project or illustration are assumed to be the property of the client or the client has permission to use the image(s) or logo(s). BGRAPHIC will not be responsible for any copyright or trademark infringement caused by the client.

Logo Design as with any design has limited amendments. Once a design is submitted for review a client has one major amendment and several small adjustments after that. Amendments are not unlimited.

 

Files

Master files that are used to create the designs are the property of BGRAPHIC. All files are automatically archived after the design process is complete. A fee may be charged should the client want a copy of these master files.

 

Proofing process

During the DESIGN PROCESS proofs are generated until a design is reached. Once a final design is reached and a proof approval signed, the job is sent to a printer of the clients choosing or from our recommendation.

Once the job is at the printer another proof will be presented to the client from the printer, if they so choose. This proof will represent the closest approximation of the final product. No proof is 100% colour accurate.

ALL PROOFS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT to thoroughly review for any discrepancies. Once this final proof has been reviewed and approved for print by the client BGRAPHIC is no longer responsible for the outcome of the final product. If there is anything wrong with the final product at that point it should have been picked up, prior to press, in the proofing process, or its something that is the fault of the printer. If the client chooses not to review any proof the client assumes all responsibility for the job.

 

Printing

If necessary, a charge for managing the printing (ie: a press pass) of your project will be added to the total.

BGRAPHIC will except NO financial responsibility for any design related problems after design completion, ie. re-prints, scanned images or any other "after design" scenario.

Designs requested and begun are paid for in full, regardless if the client decides that part of the original order is no longer needed. Designs that have begun the process are paid for regardless of the fact that they are used or not.

BGRAPHIC retain the right to withhold the artwork, if part (50%) or full payment is not presented at the final stage before going to print.

 

Quotes

All quotes are negotiable. Quotes are for design work ONLY. Printing costs are separate.

 

Non Payment

Any invoice not paid within the specified time (usually 30 days) will be subjected to an additional charge of 10% of the total invoice.
